Dr. Amanda Camp, DVM

After graduating from Madison-Ridgeland Academy, Dr. Camp obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in microbiology from Mississippi State University, and her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Mississippi State University College of Veterinary Medicine. She returned to Madison to join All Creatures Animal Care Center in the summer of 2000, and became a partner in 2004. 

Dr  Camp loves working with animals and their owners. Her special interests are in reproduction, endocrinology, internal medicine, and soft tissue surgery. She was named Young Veterinarian of the Year by the Mississippi Veterinary Medical Association in 2007. She was also an Elite speaker for Zoetis (formerly Pfizer) in the area of Parasitology.  

She and her husband Kevin have two children Miriam and Herren.   They are active members at the Chapel of the Cross Episcopal Church where she just came off a three year term on the vestry. She loves being with her family, cooking, and outdoor activities.  They also have three pups - Lily (the Teddy Roosevelt Terror), Dusty (the not so shiny Labrador), and Nugget (the found on the side of the road Pomeranian).
